Starting this week out in the Western Hockey League where Brad Morrison picked up an assist in Prince George's win over Kelowna Saturday night. The 2015 fourth-round pick now has two goals and seven assists for nine points in six games for the Cougars, and is tied for second in the WHL in points.
Over in the Ontario Hockey League, Rangers 2016 fifth-round pick Tim Gettinger picked up his first goal of the season for Saulte Ste. Marie on Saturday in the Greyhounds' win over Sarnia. The 6-foot-6, 220-pound Gettinger has two points in three games since returning to the Soo.
The Rangers on Sunday announced 2016 third-round pick Sean Day has been returned to Mississauga of the OHL.
Over in Europe, Tarmo Ruenanen has four assists through eight games for Tuto in Mestizo in Finland. New York selected Reunanen in the fourth-round of last year's NHL Draft.
