With a shorthanded goal on Wednesday vs. Ottawa, Rangers forward Petr Nedved
reached the 20-goal plateau for the eighth time in his 12-year NHL career thus far.
Nedved has now eclipsed the 20-goal mark in five different seasons as a Ranger. The forward netted 32 goals and 46 assists for 78 points with New York during the 2000-01 season, marking Blueshirt highs for the Czech native.
The 31-year old set career highs during the 1995-96 season as a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins, collecting 45 goals and 54 assists for 99 points in 80 matches.
Nedved currently ranks third on the Rangers with 38 points (20 goals, 18 assists) in 52 games.
