MSG announces Round 1 broadcast schedule

MSG announced today the broadcast schedule for the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils first round games of the 2009 NHL Playoffs.  The Rangers will battle the Washington Capitals, beginning on Wednesday, April 15. 

Announcer teams for the Rangers' Eastern Conference Quarterfinals will include Sam Rosen, Joe Micheletti, Al Trautwig and John Giannone; and contributing reporting from Ron Duguay, Stan Fischler, Butch Goring, Dave Maloney and Deb Placey for the pre and post game and “Hockey Night Live” coverage. 

All Rangers games will also be broadcast on 1050 ESPN Radio, with Kenny Albert calling play by play and Dave Maloney serving as analyst. 

Below is the complete Rangers Round 1 TV schedule, games five through seven are subject to change, all games on MSG will be telecast in HD.
