Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist, who was recently named the NHL's Defensive Player of the Week, will be a guest on WFAN Sports Radio's popular "Mike and the Mad Dog" radio program on Friday (Jan. 27) at 3 p.m. ET.
Lundqvist will be asked about the current Rangers season and the upcoming Olympics in Torino, Italy.
On Sunday night, Lundqvist became the first Rangers rookie netminder to reach 20 wins since Mike Richter in 1990-91. He also became the first Rangers goaltender to win 20 since Richter in 2001-02.
With a 2.13 goals-against average and .927 save percentage, Lundavist is on pace to break Mike Dunham's team record for save percentage while postinig the team's lowest goals-against average since Gilles Villemue's 2.09 in 1971-72.
