Lundqvist

Henrik Lundqvist said he's been dealing with a nagging knee injury since early in the season.
It's the same knee he injured in last year's World Championships, though he admitted it hasn't hindered his performance on the ice, but has rather just been something that's crept into his mind throughout the year.
"It's something I've had to deal with but it's not effecting my play, but it's something that when every day you have to look after it, it's not ideal," he said at the team's final media availability of the season. "It's part of playing in this league. You play every day. You just have to make sure you do whatever is necessary to be ready to play. Now, I see an opportunity to get the right treatments and feel 100 percent."

Lundqvist said he's still unsure about whether he'll play in the World Championships next month in Denmark, partly because of the status of his knee, which he'll meet with doctors in the coming days to undergo an MRI.
He doesn't expect the injury to prevent him from beginning his offseason training.

Both Chris Kreider (Team USA) and Mika Zibanejad (Team Sweden) confirmed they'll take part in the World Championships.
This would mark the first time Kreider has represented the United States at an international competition since the 2011 World Championships when he was still at Boston College.
Zibanejad, meanwhile, last played for Sweden at the 2012 World Junior Championships when he scored the game-winning goal in the Gold Medal game against Russia.

Mats Zuccarello, who had an MRI on his leg last year, said he's feeling OK heading into the summer.
"Just had something done on my knee," he said. "It's been struggling for a bit now this season. I'm going to rest up for three-to-four weeks and then start working out. I should be good."
