Lundmark Sidelined with Right Knee Injury

The New York Rangers announced today that Rangers forward Jamie Lundmark was examind by Dr. Andrew Feldman and Dr. Anthony Maddalo and is expected to be sidelined for eight weeks after suffering a third degree sprain of the medial collateral ligament (MCL) in his right knee, as well as a partial sprain of the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL).

He sustained the injury during the second period of last night's match on Long Island against the New York Islanders.

Lundmark has skated in 23 matches for New York this season, registering two goals and five assists for seven points, along with 12 penalty minutes penalty minutes.
