Lindros Sidelined Day-to-Day with Knee Sprain

Eric Lindros suffered a mild sprain of his right MCL during the second period of tonight's game vs. Tampa Bay at Madison Square Garden. He will be sidelined on a day-to-day basis.

Lindros, 28, is tied for first on the team with 20 goals and ranks third on the Rangers with 45 points. The center also places fourth on the club with a plus-14 rating , 99 hits and 87 penalty minutes.

The 6-4, 240-pounder was selected to appear in his seventh NHL All-Star Game, to be played on Saturday at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.
