Lindros, Rangers and Celebs Putt For Charity

The Madison Square Garden Theatre Lobby was transformed into a mini golfers paradise as Eric Lindros, members of the New York Rangers, distinguished Blueshirt alumni and celebrities were on hand to host the First Annual Eric Lindros Celebrity Mini Golf Classic presented by OppenheimerFunds and Norelco on Monday, February 10, 2003. Proceeds from the events benefitted the Children's Miracle Network and Rangers Cheering For Children.

18 holes of golf were set up throughout the Theatre Lobby and Terrace with refreshments, beverages and top New York restaurants and wineries offering appetizers along the course.

Rangers joining Lindros in attendance included: Matthew Barnaby, Pavel Bure, Mike Dunham, Gordie Dwyer, Jamie Lundmark and Tom Poti. Rangers great and Hockey Hall of Famer Rod Gilbert was also on hand.

Celebrities in attendance included: Ed's Julie Bowen, Chef Bobby Flay, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit's Stephanie March, Mamma Mia's Tina Maddigan, Philip Seymour Hoffman and New York Giants Amani Toomer, Luke Petitgout and Tim Carter.

Children's Miracle Network is an international non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for children's hospitals and medical organizations.
