New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that defenseman Bryce Lampman has been reassigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Lampman, 24, has skated in 42 games with Hartford this season, collecting five goals and 10 assists for 15 points, along with a plus-six rating and 48 penalty minutes. He currently ranks second on the Wolf Pack in plus/minus (plus-six) and third among team defensemen with 15 points.
The 6-1, 205-pound defenseman has also appeared in one game with the Rangers, making his season debut on February 3 at Tampa Bay.
PRACTICE UPDATE: Everyone on the Rangers roster participated in Wednesday's practice other than Petr Prucha (neck) and Brendan Shanahan (rest). The Blueshirts return to action on Friday, Feb. 9, when they will face off against the Tampa Bay Lightning at Madison Square Garden.
