by Jim Cerny / New York Rangers

Rangers prospect Nicklas Jensen scores the game-winning shootout goal in Denmark's 2-1 victory Sunday over the Czech Republic at the 2016 World Championships in Russia.

Jensen, whom the Rangers acquired in January along with a sixth-round pick in exchange for Emerson Etem, has been one of Denmark's top producing forwards, notching four goals and two assists along with 22 shots on goal in six games through the tournament.

The 23-year-old was one of Hartford's best players after his acquisition in January, notching 15 goals and 10 assists for 25 points in 41 games for the Wolf Pack.

This marks the fourth time Jensen has represented Denmark at the World Championships.
