Hartford (AHL) Inks Cam Severson to Contract

Hartford, October 31, 2001 - Hartford Wolf Pack General Manager Al Coates announced today that the team has signed forward Cam Severson (SEE ver son) to an AHL contract. Severson had been playing with the Wolf Pack on a Professional Try-out (PTO) contract.

A fourth-year pro, Severson has one power-play goal and five penalty minutes in four games with Hartford this year. He was originally an eighth-round pick (192d overall) by the San Jose Sharks in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft.

The Wolf Pack have one game this week, Saturday night in Worcester (7:35 start), and return home to host the Houston Aeros at the Hartford Civic Center on Wednesday, November 7 (7:05 faceoff).
