Hartford Wolf Pack General Manager Al Coates announced today the schedule for the team’s Eastern Conference Quarterfinal playoff series against the Providence Bruins.
Hartford will battle their New England Division rivals in a best-of-five opening round series. It will be the third straight year that the teams have met in the Calder Cup Playoffs. Providence won a conference semifinal series, 4-0, en route to the 1999 championship, while Hartford returned the favor in the conference finals, 4-3, last spring.
Hartford and Providence will square off beginning Wednesday night, April 11, at the Hartford Civic Center. Game 2 will be in Hartford on Friday night, and the series shifts to the Providence Civic Center for Game 3 on Saturday, April 14, and Game 4, if necessary, next Monday, April 16. A deciding Game 5 would be back in Hartford on Wednesday, April 18. The entire series schedule is below.
