Grenier Returns From Injury, Assigned to Charlotte (ECHL)

The Hartford Wolf Pack today assigned defenseman Martin Grenier to the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL.
The 6-5, 245 blueliner has been out of the Wolf pack lineup since re-breaking his thumb in a game versus Providence on December 27. He had previously missed 24 games after breaking his right thumb back on October 30 in a game versus Portland.
In the eight games with Hartford this season, he has registered three assists.
The native of Laval, Quebec has appeared in 15 career NHL matches with the Vancouver Canucks and the Phoenix Coyotes from 2001-2003, registering one goal, along with 14 penalty minutes.
