Game Notes: Rangers at Washington Capitals

The Rangers face-off against the Washington Capitals today at the Verizon Center in Game Two of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals (1:00 p.m.). On Wednesday, the Rangers defeated the Capitals, 4-3, in Game One, marking their third consecutive Conference Quarterfinals Game One victory on the road (April 12, 2007 at Atlanta, 4-3; April 9, 2008 at New Jersey, 4-1). New York enters today's game with a 195-208-8 all-time record in its previous 411 playoff contests, including an 87-128-6 mark on the road. The Blueshirts have posted a 44-45-2 record all-time in Game Two's of post-season series.
