Game Notes: Rangers at Toronto Maple Leafs

Tonight's Game

The Rangers face-off against the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight at the Air Canada Centre (7:00 p.m.). The Blueshirts currently sit atop the Atlantic Division standings with a record of 10-2-1, and rank first in the Eastern Conference with 21 points. The Rangers enter tonight's contest having defeated the Thrashers, 3-2, on Thursday at Madison Square Garden, and have won their last four games. With the win, the Blueshirts set a new franchise record for best start through 13 games with 10 wins and 21 points. Following tonight's match, the Rangers will return home to host the New York Islanders on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m.). The Maple Leafs, 4-3-3, currently rank 10th in the Eastern Conference standings with 11 points, and have won three of their last four games.
