Tonight's Game

The Rangers face-off against the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight at Mellon Arena (7:30 p.m.), to complete their ninth of 14 back-to-back sets this season. The Blueshirts currently rank second in the Atlantic Division standings with a record of 29-16-4, and fourth in the Eastern Conference with 62 points. The Rangers enter tonight's contest having defeated the Hurricanes, 3-2, yesterday at Madison Square Garden, and have earned a point in six of their last seven games (5-1-1). Following tonight's contest, the Rangers will travel to Boston to face-off against the Bruins on Saturday, January 31, at TD Banknorth Garden (1:00 p.m.). The Penguins, 23-21-4, currently rank 10th in the Eastern Conference standings with 50 points, and have won two of their last three games.
