Tonight's Game

The Rangers face off against the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight at Mellon Arena in Game One of the Eastern Conference Semifinals (7:00 PM). In the Conference Quarterfinals, the Rangers eliminated the Devils in five games, marking the second consecutive season the Blueshirts advanced to the Conference Semifinals. New York enters today's game with a 193-204-8 all-time record in its previous 405 playoff contests, including an 86-125-6 mark on the road. The Rangers have posted a 40-45-5 record all-time in the opening game of a postseason series, and are 16-34-4 all-time away from MSG in Game One.
