Game Notes: Rangers at Philadelphia Flyers

Today's Game

The Rangers face-off against the Philadelphia Flyers today at the Wachovia Center (1:00 p.m.), in the first game of a home-and-home set. The Blueshirts currently rank fourth in the Atlantic Division standings with a record of 35-25-8, and seventh in the Eastern Conference with 78 points. The Rangers enter tonight's contest having defeated the Predators, 4-2, Thursday at the Sommet Center, and have won four of their last five games. Following today's contest, the Rangers will return home to face-off against the Philadelphia Flyers, tomorrow, March 15 at Madison Square Garden (12:30 p.m.), to close out their home-and-home set. The Flyers, 36-20-10, currently rank fourth in the Eastern Conference standings with 82 points, and have lost four of their last seven games.
