Game Notes: Rangers at New Jersey Devils

Tonight's Game

The Rangers face off against the New Jersey Devils tonight at the Prudential Center in Game Five of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals (7:30 PM). On Wednesday, the Rangers defeated the Devils, 5-3, in Game Four to take a 3-1  series lead. New York enters today's game with a 192-204-8 all-time record in its previous 404 playoff contests, including an 85-125-6 mark on the road. The Rangers have posted a 22-28 record all-time in the fifth game of a postseason series, and are 16-21 all-time away from MSG. When Game Five is a potential series clincher for the Blueshirts, New York has posted a 9-6 record overall.
