Game Notes: Rangers at New Jersey Devils

Tonight's Game

The Rangers face-off against their cross-river rivals, the New Jersey Devils, today at the Prudential Center (7:00 p.m.) in the second game of a back-to-back set. The Blueshirts are currently in third place in the Atlantic Division standings with a record of 38-26-9, and rank sixth in the Eastern Conference with 85 points. New York enters the contest having defeated the Penguins, 5-2, yesterday at Madison Square Garden and are now 11-2-3 in their last 16 games. The Rangers are 4-2-1 on Wednesday's this season. Following today's match, the Rangers will travel to Philadelphia to face-off against the Flyers, Friday, March 21, at the Wachovia Center (7:00 p.m.). The Devils, 42-24-6, are currently in first place in the Atlantic Division standings with 90 points and have won five of their last six games.
