Game Notes: Rangers at Los Angeles Kings

Tonight's Game

The Rangers face-off against the Los Angeles Kings tonight at the Staples Center (10:30 p.m. EST), in the second game of a back-to-back set. The Blueshirts currently sit atop the Atlantic Division standings with a record of 21-11-2, and rank second in the Eastern Conference with 44 points. The Rangers enter tonight's contest having defeated the Ducks, 3-1, yesterday at the Honda Center, and have won three of their last four games. Following tonight's contest, the Rangers will travel to San Jose to face-off against the Sharks, Saturday, December 20, at HP Pavilion at San Jose (10:30 p.m. EST), to wrap up their three-game, West Coast road trip. The Kings, 13-12-5, currently rank 10th in the Western Conference standings with 31 points, and have lost five of their last eight games.
