European Playoff Update: Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, Russia

SWEDISH ELITE LEAGUE:
Vastra Frolunda (Henrik Lundqvist) vs. Djurgardens
Lundqvist and top-ranked Frolunda head into the second round extremely well rested, having swept their first round opponent, Lulea, in four straight games - outscoring them 23-5.
Djurgardens is coming off a difficult, grueling, seven-game series against Timra whom they beat 3-2 in Game 7 on Thursday evening.
Lundqvist's stellar play carried over from the regular season into the playoffs, compiling a 1.33 goals against average and a .959 save percentage, along with one shutout.
Lundqvist turned aside 30-or-more shots in three of the four games vs. Lulea.
These two teams met four times during the regular season with both teams posting a 2-2-0 mark.
Djurgarden's latest victory over Frolunda came in the last game of the regular season, snapping the Indians' nine-game unbeaten streak and Lundqvist's person unbeaten streak of 17 games.
Lundqvist appeared in 44 games during the regular season, posting a league-leading 33-8-3 record, 1.79 goals against average and .936 save percentage.

FINNISH LEAGUE:
Tappara vs. JYP (Jarkko Immonen)
Despite winning the first game of their best-of-three series (6-4), JYP dropped the Games Two (1-0) and Three (4-0) and were eliminated by Tappara, 2-1.
Immonen collected two assists in the opener but was held scoreless in the final two games of the series.
Immonen registered 19 goals and 28 assists for 47 points, along with 24 penalty minutes in 54 games for JYP this season.

CZECH REPUBLIC EXTRALEAGUE:
Pardubice (Petr Prucha) vs. Kladno
Pardubice skated past Kladno, 3-1, in the final game of their best-of-seven series on Thursday.
Petr Prucha collected an assist in the Game Seven win and posted two goals and two assists during the series.

RUSSIAN SUPER LEAGUE:
Novokuznetsk vs Lada Togliatti (Maxim Kondratiev)
Togliatti leads this best of three series 1-0, and looks to wrap things up on Saturday with a victory.
Kondratiev didn't factor into any scoring during Lada Togliatti's 3-0 victory in Game One.
During the regular season series between the two clubs, each team posted a 1-1-2 record.
Kondratiev appeared in 32 regular season games with Lada Togliatti, recording two goal and three assists for five points, along with 63 penalty minutes.
