The former NHL All-Star and Garden favorite stopped at each room to talk to the children and families for extended periods of time, while doing his best to provide a distraction to each of the patients staying at the hospital.
In addition to offering words of encouragement, Duguay signed autographs, posed for pictures and handed out goodies from the Rangers Gift Chest including blankets, hats, playing cards and much more.
A partner of the Garden of Dreams Foundation, the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital sets a new standard for children’s hospitals. It is the fulfillment of a vision for a family-centered facility that combines the highest-level care possible in the most supportive and therapeutic environment.
