Dubinsky reassigned to Hartford

New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that forward Brandon Dubinsky has been reassigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL).


Dubinsky, 20, has skated in six games with the Rangers and 58 games with Hartford (AHL) this season. In 58 games with the Wolf Pack, the 6-1, 210-pound center has registered 14 goals and 16 assists for 30 points, along with a plus-four rating and 87 penalty minutes.}

INJURY UPDATE: Martin Straka participated in practice on Tuesday but remains out day-to-day with a lower body injury that was suffered on March 17 vs. Boston. Brendan Shanahan also participated in practice, but remains out indefinitely due to a concussion suffered on Feb. 17 vs. Philadelphia. Kevin Weekes participated in practice, but remains out day-to-day with a strained quadricep muscle that was suffered on February 13. Marcel Hossa, Karel Rachunek and Fedor Tyutin also remain sidelined. Hossa will be out three more weeks due to a left MCL sprain suffered on March 5 vs. the New York Islanders. Rachunek suffered an MCL sprain on March 13 vs. Ottawa and will be out three to four weeks. Tyutin sustained a left MCL sprain on March 1 vs. Pittsburgh and will be sidelined two more weeks with the injury.
