Drury sidelined following knee surgery

New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that Chris Drury underwent arthroscopic knee surgery on his left knee today, and will be sidelined for six weeks.

The procedure was performed by Dr. Andrew Feldman at the NYU Langone Medical Center's Hospital for Joint Diseases in Manhattan.

Drury has missed 33 games to injury this season, including a 29-game absence from October 18 to December 12 due to a fractured finger sustained vs. Toronto on October 15. He had skated in 22 consecutive games before missing the last two contests with the knee injury.

The 13-year veteran has registered 254 goals and 360 assists for 614 points, along with 468 penalty minutes in 891 career regular season games.
