Coat Drive scheduled for three December games

by Staff Writer / New York Rangers
Rangers fans can do their part to help keep New York's kids warm this winter while supporting their favorite team at three home games in December.

The Garden of Dreams Foundation will be conducting a Kids' Coat Drive during the Dec. 3 game against the Islanders, the Dec. 10 game against Florida, and the Dec. 17 game against New Jersey.

Fans are encouraged to bring new or gently-used children's coats to The Garden for dropoff prior to each of these games. Collection bins will be set up in the mall area outside The Garden Box Office. At each game, the first 300 fans who donate a coat will receive a special Rangers pin, courtesy of the Garden of Dreams Foundation. There will be a limit of one pin per person.

All coats will be donated and distributed to needy children by the Rangers Alumni in their visits to local community based organizations over the coming months.
