Rangers defenseman Bryan Berard
took a few minutes to chat with fans after today's practice at Rye Playland, where he answered a few questions on newyorkrangers.com
Here are a few of those questions ...
sarahb: Bryan, your comeback has been truly inspirational. How has your role and or goals changed since becoming a Ranger?Bryan Berard:
I don't think my role has changed at all. I think it took a little time to adjust to getting back to the NHL. I picked New York because I thought it was the best fit for me.
hughq212: What has been the biggest adjustment you have had to make in your comeback? Are there any aspects of your game that have changed for the better? Worse?Bryan Berard:
I really haven't had to make any adjustments. I think the hardest thing was being away from the game for a year and a half.
NYRGIRL93/20: Bryan, We are happy to have you in NYR...how do you like NYC?Bryan Berard:
I love it. I grew up in Rhode Island and I'm familiar with New York. It's a great place to live.
NYRYorkie18: What are your hopes for Team USA?Bryan Berard:
The gold medal. I think they have a good team and Herb Brooks is a great coach.
mmacedo055: Bryan, will you play in the Olympics?Bryan Berard:
I think the only way I will play is if another defenseman gets injured. You don't wish that upon anyone, but it's always an honor to represent your country.
