Brian Leetch Skates in 900th NHL/Rangers Game

Brian Leetch dressed in his 900th NHL game as a member of the New York Rangers this afternoon against the Boston Bruins at the FleetCenter.


Leetch, currently in his 14th season with the Blueshirts, has tallied 830 points (195 goals, 635 assists) along with 409 penalty minutes in his 900 games played. The 32-year old defenseman passed Hall-of-Famer Rod Gilbert for first place on the Rangers all-time assists list on November 18, 2000 at Calgary and is ranked second on the club's all-time points list behind Gilbert (1,021 points).

Brian Leetch was the Rangers first choice (ninth overall) in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft.
