KEEP ON ROLLING - The Rangers won their fourth-straight game to match their season-high win streak set twice prior (Oct. 16-23, Nov. 8-16) and are one of three teams in the NHL (MIN, TOR) with three-separate four-plus game winning streaks. New York has wins in eight of its last nine games and has at least one point in 11 of its last 13 games (9-2-2). This season, the Blueshirts have a point in 17 of 21 games.
GARDEN PARTY - New York won its sixth-straight home game to tie Dallas for the longest active home winning streak in the NHL. It marks the Rangers' longest home win streak since winning eight straight games at home from Oct. 26-Nov. 26, 2017. The Rangers' .813 point percentage (6-1-1) at home is the third-best in the NHL.
METRO BOOMIN - The Rangers improved to 5-1-0 for 10 points against Metropolitan Division opponents. The only loss came in the season opener against Washington (Oct. 13).
PHILLY-ANTHROPIC - The Blueshirts have taken at least one point in five of their last seven games (4-2-1) against the Flyers and have wins in back-to-back games.
IT'S A POWER-PLAY GOAL - The Rangers scored a power-play goal for the third time in their last four games and are now 13-for-61 (21.3%) on the man advantage this season. When scoring a power-play goal this season, the Blueshirts are 8-1-2 and when outscoring an opponent on special teams, New York is 6-0-1.
THE KILLERS - The Blueshirts killed off three penalties consisting of a total of nine minutes tonight. In its lasts three games, New York is 12-for-12 on the penalty kill and this year is 11-0-1 in games it has not allowed a power play goal.
FIRST OFF - New York opened the scoring tonight, giving them a 9-0-2 record this season when scoring the first goal of the game. The Rangers' nine wins when scoring first is tied for the sixth-most in the NHL.

  • Mika Zibanejad tallied his 300th point as a Ranger (140G-160A), becoming the 42nd player to record 300 points with the franchise. Zibanejad required the fewest games (343 GP) to reach the mark with the club since Jaromir Jagr (257 GP). Since he was acquired by New York in the summer of 2016, Zibanejad leads the Rangers in goals (140), assists (160), points (300), power-play goals (56) and game-winning goals (24). Zibanejad has points in five of his last eight games (5A). Against Philadelphia, Zibanejad extended his point streak to six games (7G-10A), tied for his longest active run against an opponent (also 6 GP vs. VGK). The streak includes back-to-back six-point performances on March 17 and March 25.
    - Igor Shesterkin earned his 12th win of the season, tied for the most in the NHL, and has compiled wins in seven of his last eight games. Shesterkin has allowed one goal or fewer in eight of 17 appearances and has posted a 8-0-0 record in appearances with one goal or fewer allowed. Shesterkin improved to 9-2-1 in games where he has made 30+ saves.
    - Chris Kreider notched his team-leading 16th goal of the season to take sole possession of the third-most goals in the NHL. Kreider has goals (5) in four of his last six games dating back to Nov. 16. Against the Flyers, Kreider has a point in four of his last six games (2G-2A).
    - Adam Fox recorded his team-leading 18th assist of the season, surpassing John Carlson for the most among NHL defensemen this season. Fox has an assist in each of his last four games (6A) and has points in 16 of 21 games this season. Fox has also recorded a point in 12 of the Rangers' 14 wins (12-1-3 record in games he has a point).
    - Artemi Panarin registered his 17th assist of the season and scored a goal for his team-leading 23rd point, giving him two goals and five assists for seven points in his last four games. Panarin has recorded a point in 11 of the Rangers' 14 wins, and the Rangers have earned a point in each of the 14 games he has tallied a point (11-0-3). Since he joined the Rangers for the 2019-20 season, Panarin's 54 multi-point games are the third most in the NHL.
    - Jacob Trouba scored his fourth goal of the season and first on the power-play. It was Trouba's first power-play goal since Jan. 13, 2020 against the Islanders. Trouba has goals in three of his past four games.
    - Kaapo Kakko posted his 10th career multi-point game with two assists in the win. Kakko has points in six of his last seven games (3G-5A), including two multi-point games (Dec. vs. PHI, Nov. 14 vs. NJD).
    - Dryden Hunt scored for a second-straight game, marking the second time in his career he's scored a goal in back-to-back games (Mar. 10-14, 2019. Hunt has four points (3G-1A) in his last five games.
    - Nils Lundkvistrecorded his third point/assist of his season/career with the helper on Trouba's opening goal. Lundkvist was also a plus-1 in over 12 minutes of ice time in the win.
