PILING ON THE POWER PLAY - New York collected two power play goals, the third time this season they have scored two power play goals in a game (Oct. 29 at DAL, Oct. 17 vs. ANA). The Rangers' 12 power play goals are tied for the fifth most in the NHL.
SHOTS ON GOAL - The Blueshirts tallied 40 shots on goal, marking the fifth time this season they have registered at least 40 shots in a game, already surpassing the amount (four) they had last year. Their five 40-plus shot games are the fourth most in the NHL.
MORE IN THE MIDDLE FRAME - The Rangers scored two goals in the second period. This season, New York's 16 second-period goals rank tied for seventh in the NHL while their 197 shots in the second period lead the NHL.

  • In his 200th game with the Rangers, Artemi Panarin collected a multi-point game with two assists. Since he signed with the Rangers ahead of the 2019-20 season, Panarin has recorded 76 goals and 192 assists for 268 points. Panarin's 268 points are the most by a Ranger through their first 200 games in team history. In that span, he ranks tied for second in assists and third in points. He also ranks for fourth in the NHL with 88 power play points. Among Rangers to skate in 10 or more games with the team all-time, Panarin ranks first with 1.34 points per game and first with 0.95 assists per game. Panarin's 79 multi-point games since 2019-20 rank fourth in the league.
    - Chris Kreider extended his point streak to six games, tying a career-long he set twice last year, with his fifth goal of the season and second on the power play. Kreider's 28 power play goals since last season are the second most in the NHL to Leon Draisaitl's 29.
    - Vincent Trocheck scored his fifth goal of the season, third on the power play, and tacked on an assist for his fourth multi-point game of the season. Trocheck also collected a team-high eight shots.
