POWER-PLAY PRESENCE - Two of the Rangers' three goals came on the power-play, giving them 28 power-play goals on the season. New York's 28 power-play goals are tied for the eighth most in the NHL. The Blueshirts have power play goals in six of their last 13 games, 12 of their last 21 games and 14 of their last 24 games. Tonight was the sixth time this season the Blueshirts tallied multiple goals on the man advantage in a contest.
THIRD PERIOD TALLIES - With two goals in the third period, New York has 51 third period goals this year, the fourth-most in the NHL.
WOAH, WE'RE HALFWAY THERE - The Blueshirts reached the halfway point of the season with their 41st game of the season. The Rangers' 56 points through 41 games are tied for the fifth-most at the halfway point of any season in team history.

  • Mika Zibanejad scored his 15th goal of the season, eighth on the power play, and tacked on an assist to extend his point-streak to seven games (4G-5A). It matches the second longest point streak of his career and longest since Feb. 11-27, 2020 (9 GP). This is the fourth-career point streak of seven or more games for Zibanejad. He has points in eight of his last nine games (7G-5A) and in his last 13 games, Zibanejad has 10 goals and eight assists for 18 points. Zibanejad has back-to-back multi-point games and a total of 11 on the season.
    - Chris Kreider tied Leon Draisaitl for the most power-play goals in the NHL with his 13th tally on the man advantage. Kreider also tied Draisaitl for the second-most goals in the NHL with 26, one behind Alex Ovechkin's 27. With two points on the power-play (1G-1A) tonight, Kreider has the fourth-most power-play points in the league with 19. Kreider has points in seven of his last nine games (7G-4A) and eight of his last 11 games (8G-4A).
    - Adam Fox registered his 36th assist of the season, tying him with Nazem Kadri for the second-most in the NHL. Fox's 36 assists are the most among NHL defensemen and his 43 points are tied with Victor Hedman for the most among league defensemen. Fox has recorded 10 assists in his last nine games and has points in six of his last eight games (2G-8A).
    - Artemi Panarin extended his point-streak to three games with an assist, giving him five assists in his last three games. Panarin has points in five of his last seven games (1G-7A) and has 18 points (4G-14A) in his last 14 games.
    - Greg McKegg scored his first goal of the season and 20th of his career. It was his first goal since March 18, 2021 against Buffalo when he was with Boston. McKegg has points in back-to-back games (1G-1A) and three of his last five games (1G-2A).
    - Ryan Reaves notched a point for a second-straight game (2G-1A) with his seventh assist of the season. It is the third time this season where Reaves has recorded points in back-to-back games (Dec. 7-8, Nov. 21-24).
    - K'Andre Miller also tallied a point for a second game in a row with an assist on McKegg's goal. It is the first time in his career that Miller has had points in back-to-back games.
