CASHING IN ON THE POWER PLAY - The Rangers scored their lone goal on the power play, giving them power play goals in three of their last four games and in nine of their last 11 contests (12 PPGs). New York finished the postseason with 18 power play goals, their second most all-time in a single playoff year (22 in 1994).

  • Frank Vatranogot the Blueshirts on the board with his fifth goal of the postseason and second on the man advantage. Vatrano finished with points in five of his last seven games (2G-4A) and a total of 13 points (5G-8A) in the playoffs. Including the regular season, Vatrano played in 42 games with the Rangers, accumulating 26 points (13G-13A).
    - Andrew Copp assisted on the Vatrano's goal, giving him 14 points in 20 playoff games (6G-8A). Copp finished with the second most points by an in-season acquisition in Rangers history, behind Steve Larmer in 1994 (16 PTS in 23 GP). Copp accumulated 32 points in 36 total games with the Rangers (8G-10A in 16 RS GP & 6G-8A in 20 PS GP).
    - Adam Fox finished with five goals and 18 assists for 23 points in 20 playoff games, the second most points in a single playoff year by a Rangers defenseman (Brian Leetch - 34 in 1994).
    - Mika Zibanejad led the Rangers in scoring in the postseason with 24 points (10G-14A), the third most by a Ranger in a single playoff campaign. Zibanejad's six power play goals matched Adam Graves (1996) for the most in a playoff year by a Ranger.
    - Chris Kreiderplayed in his 100th career playoff game, joining Marc Staal (107 GP) and Dan Girardi (122 GP) as the only skaters to hit the mark with the Rangers. Kreider finished the season with a combined 62 goals in the playoffs and regular season, tied with Adam Graves (1993-94) for the most in franchise history.
