by Staff Writer / New York Rangers
More than 1,000 Rangers fans got a chance to receive autographs from several members of the Rangers while supporting the U.S. Marine Corps' Toys for Tots program on Wednesday evening at "The Pond" at Bryant Park.

The 12th annual Rangers Holiday Toy Drive brought in more than 2,000 unwrapped toys to support the United States Marine Corps efforts on behalf of Toys for Tots.

Current Rangers players Kevin Weekes, Tom Poti, Steve Rucchin, Jason Strudwick, Martin Straka, Martin Rucinsky and special alumni guest Adam Graves hosted this year's holiday toy drive.

Fans attending the event received player autographs in exchange for donating an unwrapped toy for distribution by the United States Marine Corps.

The Rangers were also proud to announce that Fisher-Price, a contributing sponsor at this year's drive, will donated 500 toys to the Toys for Tots program. Over the past 12 years, the Rangers have delivered nearly 65,000 toys to New York City children.
