Adam Graves to Appear at SIPA Rink Opening

by Staff Writer / New York Rangers
Rangers Alternate Captain, Adam Graves, will be on hand for the opening of The Stanley M. Isaacs Park Association (SIPA) rink this Saturday, October 21 at 4:30 PM. The rink is being dedicated and named after Paul L. McDermott, a beloved coach who succumbed to cancer.

Since 1992, SIPA has been the only non-profit hockey youth organization in New York City that reaches out to disadvantaged children from all five boroughs. The Association has been providing hockey opportunities to children from all walks of life, without excluding children because of where they live or their inability to pay. SIPA's efforts to bring together children of different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds increases their cultural exposure and leads to better understanding and acceptance of others. SIPA is unique for not only the services they provide to the community and its children, but also for the diversity of the youth they serve.
