On Monday, February 2, over 250 children and families from the Garden of Dreams Foundation joined together at MSG's WaMu Theater for a special celebration in honor of Rangers legend, Adam Graves.
Bringing a close to an already busy day for Graves, where he had the honor of ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange, children from all 18 partner organizations were on hand to congratulate Graves on his je

rsey retirement and thank him for his continued support of Garden of Dreams.
Upon their arrival, guests received pins, hats, and cameras to commemorate the event. Once they entered the room, guests were greeted with a carnival atmosphere complete with face painting, caricaturists, magicians, a stilt walker, games, and plenty of popcorn and cotton candy.
Also available was a poster-making station where children were invited to create congratulations and thank you posters for Tuesday's ceremony that would hang for Graves to see as he makes his entrance onto the ice. The celebration was also jam-packed with several former teammates of Graves, as well as Rangers alumni including Mark Messier, Brian Leetch, Mike Richter, Stephane Matteau, Rod Gilbert, Eddie Giacomin, Harry Howell, and Andy Bathgate, among others. Many of the admiring guests stopped the former Rangers' stars to take photos and receive autographs.
A major highlight of the night was the once-in-a-lifetime chance for guests to take photos with the Stanley Cup.
Before the event concluded, Garden of Dreams presented Graves with a special photo montage commemorating his service to the Foundation.
"It's been fun to see so many familiar faces here tonight," said Graves. "I'm so thankful to everyone here at the Garden for putting all of this together and allowing all of the Garden of Dreams kids to come together for one special party."
