The Rangers hosted Garden of Dreams Night on December 14,2018 at Madison Square Garden as part of Garden of Dreams Week, which celebrates children from across the tri-state area by providing them with once-in-a-lifetime experiences with the Rangers, Knicks, Rockettes and MSG Networks.

Enmanuel, 18, Bronx NY
Enmanuel first joined the Garden of Dreams family when he sang "Feeling Good" by Michael Buble in the 2017 Garden of Dreams Talent Show. This past spring, Enmanuel attended Garden of Dreams Prom and was surprised with news that he received the Garden of Dreams Inspire Scholarship by his Talent Show mentor, Andrew Rannells. Enmanuel is currently a freshman at New York University.

Emma, 5, Middle Island, NY
Emma was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). Because of experimental treatment, she is now able to stand and walk using a walker. Emma met her favorite player Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist, for the first time in 2016 at MSG Training Center, and Henrik recently surprised her with a holiday shopping spree at FAO Schwarz.

Hayden, 9, Newton, NJ
Hayden was diagnosed with metastatic Ewing's Sarcoma and underwent treatments as well as surgery. Hayden participated in Blueshirts Off our Backs in 2017 and last year at Garden of Dreams Awareness Night, he high-fived the players as they entered as the Rangers Hype Kid. Hayden is now one year cancer free!

John, 15, Staten Island, NY
This past October, John was diagnosed with Osteochondritis Dissecans, a joint disorder which required season-ending surgery. An active member of his hockey team, John still attends every game to support his teammates and help as an assistant coach. This week, John had his dream come true when he spent the afternoon with his favorite player Brady Skjei and met Coach Quinn at the MSG Training Center.
Ava, 18, Bloomfield, NJ
Before her 17th birthday, Ava faced two open heart surgeries and pacemaker installed. In 2017, Ava participated in the Garden of Dreams Talent Show, playing her original song on the cello. Since then, Ava played the National Anthem at Garden of Dreams Night for New York Liberty, attended Garden of Dreams Prom. Most recently, Ava was surprised by her favorite Knicks player, Frank Ntilikina, with news that she was being awarded the Garden of Dreams Inspire Scholarship. Ava is now a freshman at Howard University.
Rangers Hype Kid
Matt, 11, Landing, NJ
Matt was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2017 and underwent treatment for over a year. Recently having completed treatment, Matt is now undergoing physical therapy and was able to join his hockey teammates back on the ice. Matt, who attended the Rangers Blue Carpet with his family this past October, had his wish fulfilled a Rangers-themed clubhouse that includes a custom, replica Rangers locker.
