Need a Monday laugh? Peter Laviolette has you covered.
The Predators head coach spoke last weekend at the 2016 National Hockey Coaches Symposium presented by USA Hockey, offering his expertise to those in attendance who are looking to improve their respective teams all across the country.
Laviolette, who has represented USA Hockey on the ice and behind the bench on multiple occasions, including the 2006 and 2014 Winter Olympics, shared his ideas on the game, but not before divulging his thoughts on coaching his team as opposed to his own children.
Take a look below as Laviolette tells a tale dating back to his days as head coach of the Carolina Hurricanes, and how offering some advice to a 10-year-old can quickly backfire.
