Training camp opens Thursday

Nashville, Tenn. - The 2006 Nashville Predators Training Camp will open with testing, physicals and photos on Thursday, September 14 at the Gaylord Entertainment Center.  The team's first on-ice practice will be on Friday, September 15 at 9:00 a.m. at Centennial Sportsplex.  All practices at the Sportsplex are free and open to the public.

Training camp for the Predators' ninth season will be conducted at both the Gaylord Entertainment Center and Centennial Sportsplex in Nashville from September 12-23.  The 51 players in camp will be divided into two groups over the first week of action (group rosters will be available at a later date), with scrimmage sessions scheduled for Friday and Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and Sunday at 10:45 a.m. 

The team will conduct training camp in Orlando, Fla. from September 24-29.  While in Orlando, team workouts will be held at the RDV Sportsplex (8701 Maitland Summit Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32810; www.rdvsportsplex.com).  On-ice sessions at RDV will be free and open to the public.
