What to Watch For...
Wednesday – Nashville vs Minnesota Wild

Nashville is 0-1-0 against the Minnesota Wild this season. Minnesota will make their first trip of the season to Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday and the Preds will be looking to even the score.

Friday – Nashville @ St Louis Blues
The Preds will face-off against the St Louis Blues for, again, the second time in two weeks. Nashville will look to add to their 2-0-0 standing against the Blues. David Legwand and Kevin Klein scored a game winning goal, respectively, in each of the wins. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Tennessee (Comcast HD 1675) with radio coverage on the Preds Radio Network including flagship station 102.5FM The Game. Puck drops at 7:00pm/CT.

Sunday – Nashville vs Calgary Flames
Nashville will start out the 2012 portion of the season with an early game at Bridgestone Arena against the Calgary Flames. The Preds are 2-1-0 with Craig Smith, Brian McGrattan and Matt Halischuk leading the team with two points apiece against the Flames. Sunday is also a special McDonald’s Family Four Pack night. This Week...
After taking a quick break for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Nashville is right back on the ice with a busy 4-game week on the schedule. The Preds opened last night with a home game against Detroit. The week continues with home games on the 28th (against Minnesota) and Jan. 1 (vs. Calgary) with a quick road trip to St. Louis (Dec. 30) in between.


Injury Report
  • Kevin Klein missed last week's games with flu like symptoms. He participated in morning skate before Monday night's game vs. Detroit, but did not play in the game.
  • Shea Weber missed Monday night's game vs. Detroit and will be re-evaluated after practice on Tuesday.

The Week That Was...
The Preds went 1-2-0 last week, dropping road games at Washington and at Dallas with a home win over Columbus sandwiched in between. Nashville closed out the week in eighth place in the Western Conference.

Shea Weber led the team with five points on the week (all assists), while Martin Erat, David Legwand, Ryan Suter, and Colin Wilson each contributed three points to the offensive efforts. Erat and Legwand led the way with two goals each.
