Nashville, Tenn. (April 11, 2018) - The NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs are unlike anything else. The passion, the excitement, and yes, the playoff beards.
BEARD-A-THON® strives to harness the momentum of the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the good of the local community. The initiative challenges Preds fans to get creative with the tradition of playoff beards in order to raise funds for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
All proceeds raised by the Nashville Predators Foundation during BEARD-A-THON® 2018 will be channeled into the 365 Pediatric Cancer Fund presented by Twice Daily. This fund is a source of much-needed fundraising for pediatric cancer research at Vanderbilt. Additionally, the 365 Pediatric Cancer Fund presented by Twice Daily works with the Predators team to host a series of opportunities for young patrons of the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital and their families to get a special dose of the Smashville hockey experience.
