Nashville, Tenn. (March 8, 2010) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Alexander Sulzer from Milwaukee (AHL) under emergency conditions.
Sulzer, 25 (5/30/84), posted three points (1g-2a) in three games during his most recent stint with the Admirals from March 3-8, giving him 22 points (5g-17a) in 22 games at the American Hockey League level. He last played for Nashville prior to representing Germany for the second consecutive Olympics in Vancouver last month, and has a pair of assists in 18 games for the Predators in 2009-10.
The Predators play their next four games on the road – all of which will be broadcast on FOX Sports Tennessee – starting tomorrow night at Atlanta (6 p.m.). Nashville will return home March 16 when Philadelphia pays a rare visit to Bridgestone Arena, and it plays seven of its final nine games this month on home ice. Tickets to all 10 remaining regular season games are now on sale and can be purchased by logging onto nashvillepredators.com. Tickets are also available by calling (615) 770-PUCK and at all Ticketmaster locations.
