Nashville Predators Executive Vice President of Business Affairs Steve Violetta announced Friday that the Sommet Group has been named the title corporate partner of the club's 2007 National Hockey League playoff run.
"The Nashville Predators are pleased to announce the Sommet Group as our first-ever playoff title corporate partner," said Violetta. "Sommet Group is a first-year sponsor that saw first-hand the value that the Predators can deliver to their business-to-business strategies - so much business value that they decided to put their brand besides ours in the race to the Stanley Cup. Through a variety of promotional and communications vehicles, two successful organizations - the Sommet Group and the Predators - will be branded together."
As part of this unique partnership opportunity, the Sommet Group and the Predators will team up to create a co-branded playoff marketing campaign that will be front and center throughout the Nashville Predators' participation in the 2007 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. This will include a co-branded playoff logo and presence displayed on all of the team's playoff production, including publications, commercials and advertisements and on street banners throughout the city of Nashville. The partnership also includes a variety of business-to-business entertainment opportunities for the Sommet Group at home and on the road.
"Sommet Group has been a dedicated partner of the Nashville Predators this season, and now we're proud to be the title sponsor of the playoff run," said Brian Whitfield, Managing Partner of the Sommet Group. "In much the same way that the Predators worked together as a team to successfully reach the playoffs, the Sommet Group of companies works together to relieve our clients of the non-revenue generating parts of their businesses - like payroll, human resources, risk management, and information technologies. It's a natural fit, and we're honored to be a part of our strong and vital Nashville community, and to support our Predators in their quest for the Stanley Cup."
Individual tickets for the first two Nashville Predators home games of their 2007 Western Conference Quarterfinal Playoff series will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, March 31 at 10:00 a.m. at the Nashville Arena box office and all Ticketmaster outlets, via the internet at nashvillepredators.com or by calling 615-770-PUCK. Nashville, which clinched a spot in the 2007 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs by virtue of last night's overtime loss at Calgary, is one of two NHL teams (along with the Buffalo Sabres) to have qualified for the post-season so far.
The only way to guarantee access to 2007 playoff tickets is with a $250 deposit towards 2007-08 Nashville Predators season tickets. For complete information on this process, call 615-770-PUCK or visit nashvillepredators.com.
