Scope Josi

The Nashville Predators wrapped up a six-game road trip with a 4-1-1 record, earning nine of a possible 12 points with wins over Florida, Chicago, Los Angeles and Anaheim.
Three of their last four games required overtime or a shootout, with their only regulation loss of the trip coming to Arizona on March 9.
As the Preds return to Nashville to host a three-game homestand at Bridgestone Arena, here's a look at some of the biggest storylines in SMASHVILLE this week:

Another Milestone for the Captain

With two points (2a) in Sunday's 5-4 OT win over the Anaheim Ducks, Predators captain Roman Josi reached 600 points in his NHL career. He did so in his 823rd game, becoming the second-fastest active defenseman to reach the milestone (Erik Karlsson, San Jose).
Per NHL PR, Josi also recorded his sixth 40-assist season, the most in franchise history and three more than the next-closest skater (J-P Dumont, 3).

Josi recorded his 566th and 567th career points on Dec. 21 at Chicago to pass David Legwand (566) for the most in Predators history. Josi became the second defenseman to lead an active NHL franchise in points, joining Boston's Ray Bourque. His 567 career points were the 27th-most by a defenseman through his first 791 career games in NHL history.

Ford Military Salute Week

The Predators organization, in partnership with Ford, Middle Tennessee State University and Fort Campbell military base, will host the Ford Military Salute week beginning on Sunday, March 12 to celebrate military families. The first Preds Plaza Party presented by Dr Pepper will take place before the game on March 18, where there will be new activations and plaza giveaways for fans.
During pregame warmups on March 14, players will wear specialized military jerseys that will be up for auction to benefit a variety of Military-focused organizations in the Middle Tennessee area. To bid, fans can text PREDS to 76278. The Nashville Predators Foundation empowered by SmileDirectClub will also have Military Mystery Pucks and Military Mystery Mini Sticks for purchase at the Preds Foundation table outside section 106/107.
