CAR@NSH: Predators, fans honor Rinne after 5-0 win

There simply isn't a better player - or more beloved athlete - in Nashville Predators history than Pekka Rinne.
On Monday night, the goaltender found out just how much he's appreciated by both his teammates and Preds fans, as they gave him a sendoff the likes of which has never been seen inside Bridgestone Arena before.
And while that may not even be it for the 38-year-old netminder - Preds forward Matt Duchene joked after Rinne's 30-save shutout of Carolina it was going to be awkward when they do this all again after game No. 82 next year - it was a heck of a finish, just in case.

Monday was also one of those nights when sports become so much more than just a goal or a save on a stat line.
Every moment in that three-hour window seemed to revolve around Rinne, and while he would never want that to be the case, it's what he deserved.
Putting a night like that into words is a difficult task - but thankfully, phonographs and the like do the story justice.
Enjoy the very best of Pekka Rinne's unforgettable celebration.
