Florida Panthers forward Richard Zednik
continues to recover at Buffalo General Hospital after undergoing surgery for a neck laceration suffered during Sunday’s game against the Sabres. On Friday, Panthers GM & Head Coach Jacques Martin stated that Zednik is due to be released within the next 24 hours.
The Nashville Predators would like to extend their best wishes and prayers to Richard for a speedy recovery.
On Tuesday, Zednik was upgraded from stable to good condition and was moved to a private patient room later this afternoon at Buffalo General Hospital. Sonya Noor, M.D., the attending surgeon for Zednik, said the injured hockey player moved from the intensive care unit, where he has been since late Sunday night.
