Nashville Predators goaltender Juuse Saros and Preds prospect Alexandre Carrier have been recognized for their stellar numbers with the Milwaukee Admirals this season.
The pair were named to the 2017 AHL All-Star Classic by the league on Wednesday, giving both players their first AHL All-Star nods, with Carrier earning the distinction in his rookie season.
Saros, who is currently with the Preds at the NHL level, carries an 11-2-0 record in the AHL with a 1.76 goals-against average and a .938 save percentage, numbers that are both good for second place among all AHL netminders. The 21-year-old has gone 3-2-1 for the Preds in six starts this season with a 1.16 goals-against average and a .957 save percentage, including his first career shutout, a 4-0 win on Dec. 30 at St. Louis.
