Registration For Upcoming G.O.A.L! Inline Set For Wednesday, July 10 at 9 A.M.

Nashville, Tenn. – On Wednesday July 10 at 9 a.m., the Nashville Predators will begin taking applicants for its upcoming session of Get Out And Learn! (G.O.A.L!) Inline.

The session will feature four nights of instruction (July 23, 25, 30 and Aug. 1) at the inline rinks located at Veteran’s Park in Hendersonville. Registration can be accessed exclusively at Space is limited to 80 participants.

This is the second consecutive year the Preds have partnered with Hendersonville Inline Hockey Association (HIHA) to offer Get Out And Learn! Inline. G.O.A.L! Inline is designed to give boys and girls ages 5 to 8 with no prior inline hockey experience the opportunity to try inline hockey for free. Hockey equipment will be provided at no cost, but participants will need to provide their own inline skates – rentals will not be provided.

The Nashville Predators continue their efforts to enhance awareness and opportunities for youth hockey in Middle Tennessee. Through partnerships with local rinks and youth hockey associations, the Predators assist with fundraising, hockey education and additional ice time to promote growth of the sport at the grassroots level. Additionally, the Predators regularly provide clinics for coaches and players, ice time at Bridgestone Arena, funding for uniforms and learn-to-play programs. The Nashville Predators’ G.O.A.L! program is offered multiple times throughout the year. Since 2006, more than 2,500 families have graduated from the G.O.A.L! ice hockey program. Established in 1993 for kids 18 and under, Hendersonville Inline Hockey Association (HIHA) is a recreational inline hockey league that plays at Veterans Park in Hendersonville. The goal of HIHA is to promote the sport of inline hockey and increase the awareness of inline hockey in the community; to broaden the base of players, coaches and officials; and to facilitate and enhance education and skill development for players, coaches and officials. Teams play on two full size rinks with sport court flooring.
