The Nashville Predators return from their five-day break to host the West's top team, the Vegas Golden Knights (tonight at 7 p.m. CT).
The Preds received two polarizing developments at Monday's practice. First, Viktor Arvidsson needed assistance from two trainers as he left practice early with what appeared to be a lower-body injury. Secondly, Filip Forsberg, who remains on Injured Reserve and is expected to be out for 4-6 weeks from Jan. 3 with an upper-body injury, skated and stick-handled on his own at the far end of the ice.
Nashville (25-11-6) went into their break with points in three-straight games. They've lost the first two meetings with the Golden Knights, one in a shootout and one in regulation.
Vegas (29-10-3) is 8-1-1 in their last 10, including a win over the Preds in Las Vegas earlier in the month.
