Projected Lineup: Canucks vs. Predators

Nashville Looks to Get Heathy When They Host Vancouver

by Thomas Willis @TomAWillis / Digital Manager & Producer

The Predators play their first of three games against the Canucks tonight at Bridgestone Arena (7 p.m. CT).

Vancouver and Nashville will play all three games of their season set over the next 29 days; two points separate them in the standings. Tonight, the predominate question for the Preds is who will be able to suit up for a team that saw five regulars out of the lineup in their last contest, a 5-2 loss to the Blackhawks.

Earlier this morning, the Predators recalled forward Pontus Aberg from Milwaukee (AHL), see more here.

Nashville held a full morning skate on Tuesday and were joined by Viktor Arvidsson (day-to-day; upper-body injury) and James Neal (Injured Reserve; upper-body). Below is a projected lineup based on the session:

Forwards

Filip Forsberg - Ryan Johansen - Calle Jarnkrok

Colton Sissons - Mike Fisher - Austin Watson

Kevin Fiala - Mike Ribeiro - Craig Smith

Harry Zolnierczyk - Frederick Gaudreau - Pontus Aberg

Defense

Roman Josi - Ryan Ellis

Mattias Ekholm - Matt Irwin

Anthony Bitetto - Yannick Weber
