The finale of the Predators' eight-game road trip has arrived (tonight at 7:30 p.m. CT).
Back in the same city where they started their travels two weeks earlier, Nashville (13-17-1) has the opportunity to end their eight-game stretch on a high note. The Preds are 3-3-1 on their trip after falling, 2-0, to the Panthers yesterday. Goaltender Juuse Saros made his second-straight start in net and tied a career-high with 47 saves.
Matt Duchene, Ryan Ellis, Roman Josi, Luke Kunin, Brad Richardson and Luca Sbisa remain on Injured Reserve and are not expected to return tonight. Defenseman Mark Borowiecki is also out due to injury.
The Stars (10-10-7) also played last night and are even with the Predators in the standings (27 points) after topping the Red Wings, 3-0.
Update: The Preds have recalled forward Rem Pitlick from the taxi squad.
